Since 1 January 2021, the rules for your home's energy label have become stricter.
If you are going to sell or rent out your property, an energy label is mandatory!
You used to be able to apply for an energy label online very easily for a few euros.
Under the new rules, it is mandatory to have an energy consultant visit your home for inspection.
During this inspection, the consultant assesses how much energy your home uses, how much of that is renewable energy and how much fossil energy is used after that.
An energy label is then calculated based on this information.
